By using UniUze, you agree to follow all Terms, Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Safety Rules. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.
2. Purpose & Limitations
UniUze helps students find each other for carpooling.
We do NOT:
- Provide transportation
- Provide drivers
- Facilitate payments
- Verify vehicle condition or legality
The platform operates as a connection service only.
3. User Responsibilities
As a user of UniUze, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Use the app only for legitimate carpooling purposes
- Avoid impersonation of others
- Refrain from harassment or abusive behavior
- Not engage in commercial or unlawful activities
4. Chat Provisions
- Chats are stored and not encrypted
- Abusive, threatening, or inappropriate messages are strictly prohibited
- Violations will result in suspension or permanent banning from the platform
5. Ride Listings
- Users assume full responsibility for the accuracy of their listings
- Participants join rides voluntarily and at their own risk
- Ride creators must comply with all local traffic laws
6. Account Suspension
Your account may be suspended or terminated for:
- Misuse of the platform
- Using a fake identity
- Harassment of other users
- Violation of safety rules
- Attempts to circumvent verification
7. Limitation of Liability
UniUze is NOT responsible for:
- Accidents during or after rides
- Conflicts between users
- Harassment outside the app
- Users' behavior once they meet offline
- Loss of belongings
- Criminal acts by users
The platform is provided "as-is" without warranty of any kind.
8. Disclaimer
UniUze is a peer-to-peer discovery platform only.
We do not:
- Operate vehicles
- Employ or verify drivers
- Guarantee ride safety
- Conduct background checks
All travel is at your own risk. The platform bears no liability for accidents, loss, injury, or user disputes.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Karnataka, India.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the modified terms.
